General Scholarship Guidelines

All Fellowship Baptist College scholarships follow these general guidelines:

A student shall be granted only one institutional scholarship

Scholars are not allowed to take subjects which are not required/or a part of their curriculum

A scholar must uphold and promote school policies

A scholar must satisfy the grade requirements of their program

Must complete degree within prescribed years

Applications must be renewed annually (Basic Ed) or per semester (College)

Employee's Children Scholarship

Benefits:

100% tuition for first child/sibling

75% tuition for second child/sibling

50% tuition for third child/sibling

25% tuition for fourth and fifth child/sibling

Eligibility:

Children of married employees or siblings of single employees

Employee must have at least 1 year of service

Maximum of 3 scholars at a time per family

Five (5) children/siblings total entitlement per employee

Discount percentage remains same until graduation

Benefit forfeited if employee resigns or is dismissed

In case of death/disability, grant continues for current term

Requirements:

Accomplished application form

Birth Certificate of the student

Marriage Certificate and Birth Certificate of parents (for siblings)

Photocopy of Registration form

Photocopy of Form 138 (Basic Ed)

Report Card (Basic Ed-College)

FBC-Shepherd's Scholarship Program

For Pastors/Bible Workers:

50% tuition for VFFBC member churches

25% tuition for independent churches

For Children:

100% tuition first child (VFFBC)

75% tuition second child (VFFBC)

50% tuition third child (VFFBC)

25% tuition children (independent churches)

Policies:

Only full-time active Pastors/Bible women under VFFBC or similar doctrine

Pastors/Bible women must promote/support the school

Children must render service/support for at least two years

Maximum of 3 children per family

Membership to Pastor's Kids organization

Family Privilege Scholarship

Benefits:

50% tuition for one child when 3+ children enrolled

100% tuition for one child when 4+ children enrolled

100% tuition + 20% for another when 5 children enrolled

Eligibility:

Parents with 3+ children enrolled in FBC (any level)

School determines which child receives scholarship

Benefits:

93-96	25% tuition discount
97-98	50% tuition discount
99-100	75% tuition discount

Eligibility:

Must be enrolled for 2 consecutive semesters

Must meet grade requirements for both semesters

No grade below 85

Requirements:

Board of Trustees Scholarship

Benefits:

100% tuition for first child

75% tuition for second child

50% tuition for third child

Eligibility:

Children of Board of Trustees members

Athletic Scholarship

National Level:

Gold: 100% Tuition + 100% Miscellaneous

Silver: 100% Tuition + 75% Miscellaneous

Bronze: 100% Tuition + 50% Miscellaneous

Regional Level:

Gold: 100% Tuition

Silver: 75% Tuition

Bronze: 50% Tuition

Policies:

For Basic Education athletes only

Must have participated in higher sports meets

One-time availment only

Availed the following Academic Year

No failing grades in previous Academic Year

Work Study Program

Benefits:

Php 20.00/hour compensation

Eligibility:

Annual family income ≤ Php 90,000

General average ≥83% per semester

Good moral character certified by Principal/Guidance Counselor

Must pass entrance examination

Work Requirements:

3-5 hours service daily (Monday-Friday)

Overtime compensated if justified

Weekend work requires prior approval

Renewed every semester

Immediate head recommendation required for renewal

Benefits:

20% tuition discount per recommended student

Policies:

For parents/students currently enrolled at FBC

Can recommend transferees (Grade 2-6, 8-10, 12, or 1st year 2nd sem)

1:1 ratio (1 recommendee = 20% discount current semester)

If recommending multiple students, discounts applied to future terms

Recommendee must not drop before 8th week

Non-transferrable benefit

25% tuition discount for one semester

For Senior High graduates of FBC
